Tea time for FLAVIA and the Rainforest Alliance

Last year we were delighted to announce that three of our popular FLAVIA coffee drinks are now being sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. That means 30% of the coffee in the FLAVIA Smooth Roast, Rich Roast and Columbia coffee originates from sustainably managed Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.
To earn this important seal, farms must make improvements in the way they operate, including:
- reducing pesticide use
- improving water safety
- protecting wildlife, water, forests and soils.
Rainforest Alliance certification also ensures workers have decent housing and access to clean water, as well as education and medical care for themselves and their families. Working with partners who trade responsibly and offering a range of drinks from sustainable certified sources is an important focus for Mars Drinks. And we know it’s important to you to know where the products you select come from.
