FLAVIA: through the years
1911
Frank C. Mars began making and selling butter cream sweets from his kitchen in Tacoma, Washington. They were so delicious that he could barely keep up with demand. By the end of the year he was employing 125 people in commercial premises.
1932
The first Mars factory opened in the UK, and quickly its products became as loved and trusted as in America. Sales of Mars Bars, Maltesers, Milky Ways, Snickers and M&Ms took off.
1955
Four Square was established as a separate division of Mars Inc. in providing workplaces around the world with consistently great tasting drinks. The unique FLAVIA drink system was born.
